When they list Dabo's coaching record, our record this season, our all time record vs. UL, etc. there will be no asterisk. We won, we are 3-0 (1-0). We won't drop in the polls. We were a mere 5.5 point favorite.
We have a great defense.
That was the best performance by a Clemson running back since Spiller left.
We were playing in a hostile environment on 5 days rest. Our young QB played his worst game. We got jobbed by the refs. We gave up 7 points on special teams. We've got 16 days to correct mistakes. No one got injured.
We should all be dancing.
The fun is in the winning.

Andre Ellington's 200 and something yards against Auburn to open the season a couple of years ago would disagree.
All in all I agree with your assessment however.

I had two heart attacks in the fourth quarter and Venables tore his augnus chitting all those bricks.
I recovered when the clock expired though I did break a few small neck bones in the celebration.
