Saying, even though he's very good about taking advantage of using mismatches against the D and its weaknesses..and he can develop a QB..
please remember his 2022 TCU squad was not a world beater either.
They won over many weak teams while beating several good to better teams like KSst, OKst & TX..
but lost their conference title in OT to KSst in a rematch..
beat a very good Michigan team in semis b/c Wolverines shot themselves repeatedly in the foot (2 INT in this game after having only 3 all season)..
and in Natty TCU scored Only 7 points vs Ga.
SEVEN!!
Saying..the coach is savvy, progressive, ahead of the curve for his age, can develop and is willing to do what it takes to win within our culture & system..
but let's not expect an undefeated season & a CFP berth right out of the gate.
YES, he will be a breath of fresh air in play calling and developing Cade & other QB's which alone should be worth the extra Million $ a year over Street's salary!
Lastly, So glad to have him on staff and look forward to his coaching up our O and bringing Clemson FB back to Standards!

Lmfao sound exactly what the coots are saying completely ignoring his entire body of work, the face TCU should’ve never been there to even compete with Georgia, and ignoring the talent at Clemson and TCU is completely different. But yes let’s not get to excited because we will probably still suck ??

Did say that Riley probably won't be an O & QB Whisper in year one..but hopefully he will.
Yes, you are right in that Clemson has more taken to work with than Frogs.

In one year he took a 5 & 7 team with the 32nd best roster to the FINAL game. He just upgraded to a 11&3 team with the 5th best roster in the Nation.

Things will change on offense but the question is will it show up next this season, next or the next, if Riley is still here? We have some players but do we have "the" players for Riley's system. You win games with recruiting and off season work and we need both.

How many offensive pts did Jawja score on Clemson! One area where we can improve greatly is scoring a TD once we get in the red zone against quality opponents! We have had an issue in games where the opponent had a strong D line... I like the up and over TE like Davis Allen or misdirection but we must get more efficient!

Our offense has been hot garbage for two years. Riley will improve it dramatically.

Shoot, I didn't know there was a time limit on how long we could be excited. Had I known, I would have been a lot more vocal and a lot sooner.
I really wish TNet would publish the rule book so I wouldn't get caught flat-footed on stuff like this...

Beg to differ , they faced a more talented team in nearly every game this season. They had a bluechip ratio of 21.5%, they probably shouldn't have been allowed on the field vs UM but won the semifinal despite the massive talent deficit. TCU:21.5% bcr, UGA: 77% trailing only OSU 80% & BAMA 89%(highest to date)-
