Bill Maher was a prophet

Nov 23, 2021, 7:01 PM

I’m not his biggest fan, but it is indisputable that he was so right about Trump when almost no one else agreed with him. I’ve taped his show for the last few years. I usually only watch a few minutes of it. But he absolutely understood early on that Trump would not concede the election. If you like it or not, he spiked the ball in the end zone when his prediction was spot on.

I basically hate Trump. But if he had handled his defeat in a more rational way, I probably would vote for him in 2024. I do like his ideas more than the democratic ideas in a big way.

But it’s just so clear that he is a nut job given how he handled his defeat. Crazy people should not be president. That’s why I hope a good Republican candidate that is not Trump emerges in 2024.

Fair point! I anticipated that response, especially from you. But I don’t care. It should be repeated over and over again. Because people don’t focus on it enough. Trump is crazy. But yet still roughly 75% of Republicans believe the election was fixed. That really scares me. I am much more interested in civility and peace and not a Civil War. Things aren’t so bad that we need to overturn fair elections. We are clearly the greatest country in the world, and things are better than ever been based off many different metrics. If too much government spending and GDP growth is less than it should be and taxes are s higher than they should be, I don’t care. That’s the lesser of two evils versus a nut job willing to overturn the Democratic principles in this country that have resulted in the greatest country on earth and that have been in place since day 1.

He dislikes Trump like no other, but he is extremely aware of all the mistakes liberals make which gets people to gravitate away from the Dems. That's why all this woke stuff bothers him now so much.

Then I guess you think all those dozens of judges who rejected the election fraud lawsuits are also insane. Many of the judges were Republicans. There’s just no proof of the big steal, but in the Trump world facts and reality don’t matter. Anyone with half a brain can see that Donald Trump is a narcissistic liar who can’t admit to losing anything.

Have you seen the empty suit we currently have in office? I wouldn’t concede defeat to that dude either! Since just about everyone who voted for him is regretting it now, just goes to show you that supposedly (81 million ) Americans should have their voting rights removed due to the lack of confidence in electing a leader!

Question for you. Do you really think most people are regretting their Biden vote? I hope you’re right but I’m not convinced. I think many are just that blind.

They definitely are not. They don't like that Biden was their option, but the masses aren't missing Trump. I am thrilled Trump is gone. I would vote for the corpse of Biden in 2024 before I would ever vote for Trump, especially after January 6th. I would have voted for Nikki Haley or someone competent over Biden though even in 2020. Biden nor Trump should have ever been president, but like I said, I am thrilled Trump is gone.

The election was significantly affected in a legal way by social media and the MSM spreading lies. And I mean SIGNIFICANTLY affected, like determined!

The election outcome was changed by the monopoly and might of left-wing media including Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Could this be proven? Probably if an honest study was done, but it won't happen, and if it did, the dems would not believe it (or understand it).

Were some votes also illegally cast and/or counted? Yes, for sure. Since it is well known the democratic party is the party of lie-cheat-and-steal, I'd estimate the illegal counts were 10:1 with more on the left. Did this affect the outcome, probably not.

It was just Trump after 1 term. No lies needed. That's why he lost. That's why people don't want him again. That's why he is still disliked. That and you add January 6th and how he gets nuttier out of office. The Repubs could easily win in 2024, but Trump will make it harder. Trump will never be liked outside of his "cult". People aren't missing him aside from his staunch followers. I bet even many of those would prefer someone else given a Republican who so dram filled. I bet the Repubs will win easily in 2024 without such a lying dramatic nutcase as an option. The country wants stability.

Oh, stability is on the way, like it is in China. You'll love it. Since Biden has accomplished so much for the CCP already the next Dem Prez may not be given the okay for the kill shot. Time to adjust and psychologically rebound from that assault will be given to give a false sense that a victory has been won. Later another agent will finish things. It will make things much easier and less messy.

It's been over a year. Can you provide us with some real evidence that the election was stolen? That's right, you can't. LOL.

It's almost like republicans believe that a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information.
