Bigger threat to a CU Nat Champ than Ga, FSU & SC next year

Ohio State's schedule. Their schedule is by far the easiest of all the schools that will start out in the top 25, and if they go undefeated ESPN will put them in the Nat. Champ. game. Pull against them starting with the Buffalo Bulls.

How does OSU going ndefeated hurt us...

I think they will be the only undefeated team. SEC will not have an undefeated team. Mark it down. The questions is can we go undefeated, then beat OSU and be the first non sec team to take the title in 8 years?
I say yes....

I wouldn't bet on that. ESPiN is a powerful machine.
The only saving grace for Clemson is that we get a chance to play UGAy to start the season. Though, I'm sure ESPiN can walk that one off by saying how many leg humpers miss the game due to suspensions.
And remember, it isn't paranoia when they really are out to get you.

If you think ESPN is not going to put an SEC team in the Nat. Champ. you are delusional, and for some reason OSU gets treated like they are in the SEC also. The only encouraging factors are playing 2 SEC teams, Taj will be getting hype and Dabo makes compelling TV. They also will give us credit for a FSU win.

only an undefeated SEC West team could trump and undefeated Clemson next year, with our schedule. We need to hope that teams like NC State (not so sure about them), GT (could be good), and Syracuse (not sure, as they lost Nassib) have good years, and that Wake, UVa (I think they're actually set up to be pretty good) and BC at least have decent years. If they do, then we'll be battle tested and the perception won't be that we just had a cake walk.
FSU also needs to be a top 10-15 team whose only loss is to us.

losses at the end of the season and somehow misses out on the NatChamp game, I'll be OK with that. As a matter of fact, most of us would that scenario right now, I'm sure.

Don't see us getting locked out if we run the table.
Both Ga and the cooters are starting the season in the Top 10. Depending on when we catch FSU, they could be too. One thing is for sure: It'll be a tall, tall order. Three very, very good teams. Part of me feels like the cooter game is the toughest of the three, seeing as it's at their place and they got themselves a little streak going.

A very tall order. We'd better put a much better defense on the field than we did last year.

I don't think it will take a gargantuan effort to go undefeated, at least not from the opponents. We have to play well in those games, but not above our heads.
Also, if we're undefeated and not in the title game, I can live with it but not if some 1 loss SEC/B1G/XII team is in ahead of us.

If we run the table (and I think we might well do so) and are not in the MNC, I will be mightily pi$$ed off. 13-0 with that schedule would be quite an accomplishment....if UGA, FSU and USuC are as good as we think they'll be.

Oklahoma. If UGA and USUC are as over rated and sucky as advertised, then an undefeated Big XII, Big 10 or SEC or PAC 12 would go.

having an undefeated are just as probable. Then how bad does the likes of WFU, BC, MD, The Citadel come into play. If Urban takes the Buckeyes undefeated again, you know their in.

It took 4 hrs, but someone finally backed me up my original post. This is the best I have felt about the upcoming year since 89, and I can see this scenario playing out. You don't think Lou won't be on every weekend down the stretch talking about how OSU deserves to be in the Nat. Champ.

We can lose against UGA and still make the MNC game no matter what OSU does.
If we lose against FSU, Scar, or at Syracuse (I see this as our trap game) then we have no shot.
But lose to UGA and win out....we're in the MNC.
