That is huge money. Historically, the BIG10 is the most prestigious conference and television understands that.

For quite a while. When you’re made up mostly of schools with student bodies mostly in the 35k-55K, mostly the largest university in the states, and have an enormous amount of living alumni + their families, it equates to big $.

couldn't negotiate his way out of his own friggin' driveway with a GPS, a map, and a compass.

Therein lies a big part of the problem.

While we can all be thankful he's no longer the ACC Commissioner, we will have to live with his half-baked and nepotistic undertakings for some time to come.

1) yes ACC has pansyassed media rights negotiators.

2) big ten has huge alumni bases = huge fan bases = more eyeballs

Up north the Big 10 is perceived to rule everything in college sports. You seldom hear of the SEC or ACC there unless they are playing one of those teams. I can see them easily pulling in this much money.
