...to give them an even slate vs SEC. There's really no more big brands for either conference to grab without poaching schools from each other. OSU, Michigan, Penn State, Oregon, Washington, USC, Clemson, FSU, Notre Dame, Miami are 10 brands that stack up pretty well with SEC's top 10 of AL, UGA, UT, Oklahoma, LSU, Tennessee, Texas AM, Florida, Auburn, Ole Miss.
Fox needs to step up their college FB programing to compete more with espn.

Not really, nobody in south Florida really likes Miami enough to follow unless they win it all.
Nothing like the support Clemson has or even UNC has!

going the whole hedge fund route or whatever is shaping up around that finance angle. They will find plenty of teams to schedule. The ACC would probably even pimp them out alongside the Irish for 5 of those, or the XII by then I guess. Big Brand. Big Money. Lots of fun. And now it's all legal. At the end of the day they could be sitting on one of the biggest goldmines in the game.

I actually wish they'd get these and add UNC and VT as well, and be at 24 teams. Those two would match up fine with, SC and KY for sec.

Really? The Big10 has 18 teams and the SEC has 16 so neither "needs" any more.

I get what you're saying here. I would argue that neither "needs" anyone at this point. I think it would just be a luxury for either conference to nab some of the schools you mentioned and pile on to the goldmine they are ALREADY sitting on.
Obviously though if the B1G added some of these schools it would increase revenue over the long term, that's not even an argument. All I'm saying is they are competing just fine with the SEC as things stand currently.
P.S. who knows if these conferences are still what they are in present form a decade from now. There's talk of the top 64 teams in FBS moving to an NFL esque division system. Things are ever changing in the current landscape and I don't think anyone other than those with the big money behind the scenes who do not give a #### about what college football stands for and represents know what's going to happen.

Hold your horses, here. Don't put a tombstone on the ACC yet. After this season, FSU and Clemson may change their minds.

Why Miami?

Miami averages less than 20K in home attendance except for the game against FSU every other year.
Is Miami really a "name brand" that Fox or ESPN would be interested in?
