All progressive socialist societies throughout history have silenced their opposition. All of them.

We would not need this if more than half the population was not living in a fantasy world of misinformation. Let's start with GOP led conspiracy that Biden Stole the election, and Republican representatives gaslighting their constituents into believing this as fact, even though The latest Kevin McCarthy tapes prove that not only were they aware this was all BS, they chose to continue lying about it anyway.
UR are barking up the wrong tree pal.

yeah, those too are completely the same keowee. I think America's faith and trust in our election process far outweighs our faith and Trust in Trump. Sadly some of you disagree.

you keep focusing on a non-issue. Nothing illegal about what Trump suggested happened and there's no proof (b/c there can't be) that he is wrong.
You ignore the real and tangible evidence of corruption from the Bidens and the left. You are so entrenched in the echo chamber you can't tell fact from fiction.

Was this not a result of "disinformation" from a sitting POTUS and do you find it acceptable?

On both sides for disinformation out there but Trump is the king of BS. It’s really unbelievable how he seems to lie so easily. He’s perfected that skill with plenty of practice in the business world.

I wouldn’t say he’s perfected. It’s always easy to tell when

he’s lying (which is most of the time he is speaking). Just his worshipers that have a hard time realizing it.

Disinformation is a problem, but I certainly don't trust either of these parties to suddenly start making the government try to regulate it. And this isn't the answer you're looking for, but something like this under the Trump administration would have been disastrous since they embraced disinformation and attacked honesty and facts.
The fact that we had a rogue administration like that (and yes, that would count if a big fat D had been by his name) is why we can't trust this measure.
I mean, I've said it for years: The bigger issue is that DHS needs to be disbanded. It's always been unnecessary, big government waste, and seems to be used more often against the citizenry than to protect it.
