Trump and his minions have vowed political vengeance on all sorts of people. Ultimately, I think Biden has done the Trump admin a big favor this morning with the preemptive pardons he issues.

Is Trump doing things for the sake of revenge? Sure; but the people that have gone after Trump did so largely out of personal hate and revenge as well, not out of reverence for the law (LOL!), because he essentially gave them all the finger.

I agree and the magnitude of what Trump did with the classified documents was far worse than what Biden did as a Senator and VP, but what Biden did was intentional, especially as a Senator.
Biden knowingly removed classified material from a SCIF. It is a federal crime to knowingly remove classified materials from a SCIF or retain them in an unauthorized area. Biden did both things.
Again, the magnitude of what Trump did was much greater than Biden, but regardless of Biden cooperating, Biden if he were a lowly government employee would almost certainly have been charged and convicted.
Trump broke the law in a major way, but Biden broke the law as well that would have landed mere mortals in jail.

Baloney. All of Fauci's actions have been out in the open. What's to investigate? He has testified to Congress numerous times over the last 6 years and is currently retired. Maga is throwing the word investigate around like they just passed a vocabulary test (or not).

I think the NY case probably shouldn't have been brought and wouldn't have been if he wasn't running again.
I think the federal cases were for sure warranted and right to be brought. I think it was mishandled in the timing and should have been brought much sooner.
I think the Jan 6 Commission was for sure warranted.
Are you suggesting that 2 wrongs make a right...in that Trump is justified in political retribution because some actions brought against him could have been politically motivated?

Biden has probably done Trump a favor by pardoning Fauci, Milley and the Jan 6th committee, as Trump has larger issues to attend to.
However, the whole concept of preemptive pardons or extending pardons in a retrograde manner for many years as was done for Hunter is not wise.

the rule of law. The Pre-emptive Pardoning of supposed "innocent" people before an investigation or a crime has even been alleged and prosecuted through our system of justice is simply a "get out of jail free card" for the politically connected.
This action diminishes the trust in our justice system and highlights the knowledge by the powerful that an abuse of Government prosecution can be corruptly applied and gotten away with - otherwise why would there be a need for a Pre-emptive Pardon??
I'm quite sure there are some connected partisan hacks in DC willing to do illegal activities that benefit the political party occupying the White House. Now that Pre-emptive Pardon's are a thing where these "innocent" political hacks are going to be pardoned before they are investigated or charged - it is literally an encouragement for more political lawfare and bad behavior.
Biden is undoubtedly the worst President in my lifetime if not the whole life of the Republic.

I do tend to agree with this but someone needs to determine the legality of blanket pardons for supposedly unknown crimes. That doesn't seem like a legal thing, or at least it doesn't seem like it should be.

You know this one stinks by the way it was done in the middle of the night as perhaps the last official act of Biden. They are banking on the inauguration to drown out any coverage of this as well as their brain dead lapdogs reflexively defending it with their usual orange man bad nonsense like usual. Kinda ironic after four years of them persecuting Trump with made up BS that they'd go this route to attempt to avoid any legal light whatsoever being shown on their own shenanigans. Come tell us all how great this is bootlickers!

Not the fact that these pardons came in in the middle of the night in the 11th hour. This I somewhat expected…
What’s crazy to me is the immediate response from the libs on here about how this is good and there’s nothing to see here!!
It’s like they cannot even think for themselves. Not one lib is saying- “hey, that’s a little curious” or “that seems funny, let me look into it”
No, it’s straight to “Trump threatened legal action” and “Trump is a felon” with zero recognition of how dirty this move is and the implications that all of these folks have significant actions that need to be covered up.

Obviously we expected this. I don’t like it one bit but America is turning the page in a couple hours. This is a day for optimism. Celebrate and don’t let Biden and his cronies steal the joy of the day. He’s a part of history now and thank God it’s over.

I am optimistic at all when it comes to Trump. I am just hoping he does a good job and will wait and see. My gut is that he will be a mess, but let's see. He will do some good things. Let's see how he is overall.

I wasn't pleased last time, so he would have to become a completely new person. Do you see him becoming a new person and nothing like the old guy?

I think he’s going at it this time more business like and with a ton of experience behind him. He now knows how Washington works and I expect him to not be sidetracked or caught off guard. I think he wants unity but of course it’s up to his opposers whether they accept the unity. I expect great success. It’s going to happen.

More than likely you are wrong, but I am all for that prediction. Let's see it.

We can revisit in 4 years. If I’m wrong I promise to admit it at that time. For the sake of America we better get this right. We have problems to address.

Fauci's pardon goes back to 2014, which I'm sure isn't just some random time frame. Other than repeatedly lying under oath to Congress (which would get any normal person charged) wonder what else he was up to in the years leading up to Covid? Apparently Joe, or whoever has been running things, knows.

They can't charge them with anything, but they apparently can't plea the 5th anymore if they are subpoenaed.
