Best wishes to Nnoko, Roper, and Smith....

Mar 14, 2016, 10:57 AM

Regardless of evaluating coaches, we can compliment these young men on their careers. I'm sure those guys weren't happy with how the season ended, but they gave their best efforts during their career at Clemson.
Roper had some big games at certain junctures, and recovered from some significant health issues. Nnoko improved from his initial season and was a 1st team all ACC defensive team player.
Smith had the game winner against Wake that one time...that was a quality moment.
Will wait and see what Blossomgame does, I think we'll know sooner rather than later.

JB has a May 25th deadline to declare. Combine is May 11-15

He can attend the combine and then decide what he wants to do. So, we should know sometime between May 15th and May 25th.

I hope he stays and improves even more. I do not see him as an NBA caliber player quite yet. The leg programs slowed his development but now that he is healthy his stock is rising. I think KJ was better at this point of their respective careers and he seldom sees the NBA court. Using that as a barometer I think Jaron would be well served returning for his senior season.

Pleased they all graduated and Roper especially looks to be on track for a very successful post basketball career.

the only good politician is a dead politician.

Nnoko really came on last year and improved a great deal

Mar 14, 2016, 11:24 AM

Roper came back after a summer stroke and played as well as could be expected.
A brain injury is difficult to deal with regardless of the severity.
Smith came off the bench and provided a little excitement in a few games.
Congratulations to these seniors and we will be a lot better next year with
the transfers.

I thank each one of these men for providing me with hours of stressful entertainment. I wish all three the best.

i am totally going to steal that phrase "hours of stressful entertainment" :)

isn't that college basketball (or any other sport) season in a nutshell?

Tiger sports stress me out. BUT.....what would I ever do without all of the excitement? I love it 100%.

Plus.....I get a vacation every time I go to a bowl game. Clemson football was kind enough to give me 3 vacations last year. I am counting on 3 more this year. Charlotte......Atlanta.......Tampa.

Go Tigers!!

This was a disappointing group. Roper never was consistent.
