I think Dabo and Saban made another dinner bet. During one of the press conferences, Dabo mentions about dinner being "on Saban" now.

Rex Varn was another fine Tiger player wearing #13

Still see him taking the pick 6 back 98 yards against Maryland in 1977. Maryland was the ACC powerhouse in those days and we were coming off a string of losing seasons.

We actually ended up losing that game 21-14, but then we went down to Athens the next week and pulled of the upset between the hedges and those two games gave us confidence.

Honestly, it can be argued that this was the play that ushered in the Golden Era of Clemson football in the late 70s and 80s.
