So are you denying that the SEC has more nfl prospects than any other conference? Because they far and away have more players drafted than any other conference.
I don’t agree with players that sit out bowl games because they’re a nfl prospect, but since that’s the main reason players say they sit out, why wouldn’t that affect the SEC more than any other conference?
If Clemson’s best 5 players sat out against Iowa St and we lost, you wouldn’t think that would be a contributing factor?

It is probably true that the SEC has the most opt outs, but that speaks to character of the kids opting out, and coaching of the kids who don’t. I agree that it is laughable for the league to argue that they are the best of the best when they can’t field teams that can win bowl games, and then explain away losses. “Yes, but we win the games that count”.
If they are truly the standard, then they should be leading by example. Instead of being the leaders they claim to be, they are feeding the problem by accepting the practice. We had no opt outs, but have some players who are unavailable. If we lose, do you think Danielson will say “but they lost both coordinators and had some key injuries and missing players”?
