Ben Middlebrooks impressive offer list.

Middlebrooks has one of the most impressive offer list’s if any player we’ve signed under brownell.
PJ Hall: Florida, VT, Marquette, Maryland, Pitt, Tennessee, Texas A&M
Lynn Kidd: Bama, Florida, Auburn, Miami, VT
O-Max: Apparently he only other offer he has was from Miami Ohio. Is that right? On his Brookwood Elite team he only averaged 11 points per game. I thought he had more accolades than that prior to Clemson.

O- Max had a lot of interest for this class but since he reclassified a year early it didnt show a lot of school. The fact that Baylor and Stanford really wanted him to reclassify and wanted him too is all that counts. He is going to have a great carrer at Marqutte.
i like the fact that to really good mid major programs in Dayton and Oral Roberts wanted Middlebrook to reclassify and shows he is underrated as a prospect.

football you have to take offers from the recruiting websites with a grain of salt.
The websites go off of the offers that the recruit claims. Some recruits will report an offer even if it was really just a conversation about the possibility of an offer. Others will only list offers from the schools they are interested in. So you'll see a recruit sometimes commit to a school like MTSU when they have offers listed from FL, LSU, UGA, TN etc..

Agree. I kinda question that last night and all it turned into was an argument with judge... Not a headache I need.
I referenced auburn as to why they'd recruit him with what they have and the class coning in with 5* talent and a huge 4* transfer. Was just trying to understand mostly.

I dont know why they offered him. Probably because he’s a good player and they wanted him on their team. That’s usually why most schools offer a player a scholarship. Why in the #### are we dissecting reasons why certain schools offered a prospect?
Auburn did in fact offer him.

And the main or “huge” reason (using his words) that he signed was because his sister plays tennis at Clemson. So was this really a big recruiting win? Or just a happenstance....

I’m more of a tulip or maybe daffodil...but yes I do suffer from Brownell derangement syndrome. Watching his low energy deflated loser press conferences for years where all he does shed blame has turned me into a bitter man who just doesn’t know how to carry on anymore.....
But hey football, softball, soccer, golf, and many many other sports at Clemson are doing GREAT!
