when did “announcing” POTDs become a thing?
People can just click the POTD link in the Boards menu themselves.

and funny some asked how or where to find their personal POTD's, if any..

So being that I have surprisingly become a really ole fart by just getting out of bed everyday for 80.9 years and have nothing to do..

I started this TNet service, free of charge, between eating Oatmeal for breakfast and a Fish dinner b/4 heading back to bed, contented that I was useful.

The logo is what we had printed on swim caps, towels, etc. I was told Coach Boettner drew it himself, based on the Esso/Exxon “tiger in your tank” tiger. I scanned this version off an old swim cap.
