First play of the game was a WR sweep.

After that, no WR sweeps anymore,.. not even any WR motion to make them think about it.

The slot used to be used for the pop pass as bread and butter in the offense.

Why can we not use it now?

DJ hasn't shown he can make those short touch passes. He's horrible at it.

I agree about using motion, but we did run the pop pass. Will Taylor got hurt on that play. We don’t have the blocking on the perimeter to run that play successfully. That’s why wr screens and swing passes rarely gain yards.

I definitely wouldn’t say the pop pass was a staple of our offense. We ran it like 5 times against the coots on 2014 for big yards, but after that we maybe ran it once a game.

We should have had more installed than what

We’re showing. It seems like we’ve taken away features of the offense every year.

Pre snap motion, orbital motion.

Because the outside blocking is trash

Did you see that awful block Ross did on that one screen early. All he had to do was get in the way and we actually had space to get some yards and the guy just pushed him to the side and kept going. And last game Galloway was literally standing watching the play not even looking for a block to make. Either the WR’s just are not that good or they don’t want to play for DJ because they have no fire. Ngata is the best with experience but he’s on the slow side and drops a lot of passes. Collins looked good tonight getting open and seems to have some speed. He just got overthrown by a mile each time.
