Was Pitt a fluke loss by a championship-caliber team? Or was it the culmination of some alarming trends that have emerged with a team that's been living dangerously on the edge for most of the season?
This game, against a bowl-bound Wake team, is going to tell us more about the make of these Clemson Tigers than any game we've played all year.
Do they shy away from the challenge presented and wilt under the pressure, or do they take care of business and send a message to Louisville, to the ACC, to the Playoff Committee, that we're still Clemson and we're not going anywhere?
The Cards are dealt, the chips are down, boys. Time to go All In.

Wake played FSU close & lead UL for 3 quarters before whatever happened in the 4th quarter happened. But I figure after Saturday night, this team is gonna come out focused, ready to play, & have that chip on their shoulder they had last year. If that ends up being the case, then everybody might be getting a glimpse of what they thought Clemson would be this year.
@ the end of the day, Pitt is a lot better team than their record indicates (they lost 3 games by a TD or less - last Saturday could've easily been filled with buzz as being an ACC CG preview had the UNC & VT games been different). They came in with a good game plan & they executed, we didn't - bad calls aside. Our boys are still in good shape, & if this game serves as the eye opener we hope it does & gets them refocused, we'll be in good shape to make another run for the title.
