because Cold Gin Dawg will be in Charlotte for the game. Cold Gin turned 50 since the last time we played but worry not because by Sept. 4 will be in mid-season form. `Greetin’ my lost confederate cousins from Pickens county. Tailgating at the crack of dawn. Casually, swiping deviled eggs from a tailgate near you. Bumming cigarettes with aplomb. Dancing the Carolina shag with the unattached women stragglers at your tailgate. Offering you one of my home brews(skrong). Challenging even the younger amongst you to a beer shotgunning challenge. Cutting deals with country gentlemen. Telling borderline offensive jokes. Snappin’ people’s COVID masks back in their faces with 3 stooges panache. Alternatively modeling behavior for you sons to emulate and acting the fool. Stealing glances from your co-eds. Displaying my ripped guns.
I’m so geeked up to see your boys back on the schedule that I almost put on a helmet today and tried to run through a brick wall. I didn’t but I wanted to.
You may have the better team. You may have the better coaches. You may well win the game. But Cold Gin Dawg will be giving you a run for your money if you expect to win the tailgate. Can’t wait!

Honestly, I don't think I would go around snapping too many people's Covid masks back in their faces. For some reason, people seem to be taking this disease that can actually kill you quite siriusly.

Tattoos are only allowable if you were in the navy or prison. Cold Gin and `tattoos don’t mix they’re for poseurs. I grow a bear at the start of deer season and shave it once I’be harvested a buck. It was good enough for my dad so I do that.

I was 12 the last time they won one & truth be known we should have won our game with them in 1980. We left no question in ‘81 as we ran through them for an undefeated National Championship!
If they would have kept Mark R. as their coach they would have won a couple of Natty’s with Smarts recruits.
The problem now is they will never fire Smart unless he has several bad seasons & He will have to revamp the offense with RPO spread to win a Natty.
