Check your facts... 1.) Series is pretty much even for the last decade. 2.) "Climpson" (your 4th grade home schooling is showing Mike) does not lack for anything in facilities or support that FSU doesn't have, so if they are SEC-esque, then so are the Tigers. 3.) Fisher is a Saban disciple...Dabo played and won a NC ring at Bama. 4.) Clemson beat LSU last season...which SEC team did FS-Who beat? Florida...um, that's a BIG NOPE. 5.) With the new media grant of rights, both schools are ACC forever, so how about supporting this conference instead of the one where one of your biggest rivals resides.


He should be fired for that stupidity. He obviously knows nothing about the conference he is paid to cover (ACC), or the one he apparently dreams of covering (SEC).

....becoming the primary source of information for a lot of sports fans, and with the increased competition for struggling newspapers, journalism as a whole is unfortunately stooping to new low levels to attract readership. Shock value overrides objectivity, non-bias, and professionalism in sportswriting these days.

Mr. Bianchi is getting exactly the attention and reaction he wanted to this article from Clemson fans, much like Greg Doyle a few years ago.

Best thing is just to ignore the article, and to discount Mr. Bianchi as nothing more than another uninformed internet message board troll who happens to get his writings published in a struggling newspaper.

the sad thing is, I used to have a measure of respect for Mike Bianchi and the opinions he expressed in his columns. But he's stooped to the lowest form of journalism techniques to garner readership---fake sensationalism.

Wonder how he felt when he turned that piece in to his editor for approval??
