Ladies and Gents, it is officially time to move on from Brad Brownell and Amanda Butler. The programs are falling to an all time low and we are losing respect by the day and hour. I believe we need to go plucking down in the Charleston area and get former Winthrop Head Coach and Current CofC Head Coach Pat Kelsey for our men's team. As for the women's team is it shown that Amanda Butler is a failure at turning programs around. That is why I believe we need to make the short trip down to Greenwood, SC and pluck away Lander University's Distinguished Women's Basketball Coach Kevin Pederson. This is our chance to make two HUGE splash hires.

Don't know about the coaches you named but agree, time is now. Amanda's forte, supposedly, was turning programs around. Her best year was players she didn't recruit.

I'd probably give Butler one more year to start turning things around. I believe she has coached the only winning season for Clemson women's basketball in over 20 years. She needs to start showing some more results though, and soon.

I can assure you that men’s basketball is not at an all-time low. Brownell has 5 winning seasons in ACC play, 4 losing seasons, and 2 seasons with .500 records. (And last year was his best ACC record yet.). I would guess that most of Clemson’s basketball history has been worse than that.

Pederson is good at that level but splash? I admit I had no idea who the coach at The College was and outside of Charleston probably not many other people have either. Splash, really. If anyone at Clemson is so worried about basketball, save $4 million and get rid of Dabo and assistants and hire splash basketball coaches. Think that is a stupid idea, so do I but so is firing basketball coaches because like every other team in the country they lost some games. Look up the results of other ACC teams and reality will kick in.
