Appreciate the gesture. Close game. Rematch?

Chuck Reedy had Clemson roots. I wouldn't mind seeing a neutral field match up between us. Your team has made strides in a great direction for a team that's won 2 bowl games in 20 yrs and finished ranked only twice in that same period. But Coach Briles is doing good things. Both our teams are on the uprise and I'd love to see us play a Texas team.

I would love a rematch. I am tired of us scheduling patsy's in the early season. Every time I hear of Clemson I always remember this game. Would love to have you join the Big 12! Unless of course you are happy where you are.

I'd love to see that matchup. And why not, we had Ok St scheduled but it fell through. A Baylor vs. CU game certainly would garner interest from multiple fan bases and regions. Both programs are doing remarkable things so why not.
And I'll call myself out as I misspoke earlier. I said you've finished ranked twice in 20 yrs when the number is actually 4 times. My bad.

No we pretty well sucked for a long time. Glad we don't any more. If it was up to me I'd schedule a home and home with Clemson in a heartbeat!

You are right - nothing to do at Independence Bowl back then.

I think it depended on where you were sitting in Atlanta. The wind would whip around under that overhang like an Ice Tornado. One of the bathrooms was a skating rink.

Thanks for posting this on YouTube and letting us Tiger fans know! Fun to see some of my all time favorite Clemson players in action... especially some of the ones I had forgotten about like Jack Cain at FS, David Sims punting, Marvin Sims, et.

I am really disturbed by the lack of targeting calls, pretty much every play.

I remember venders in the stands yelling "Warm beer!" during the second half because everyone was freezing.

I remember those two live bears just about mauling the Tiger on the sidelines.

Yeah that was funny. Those bears rassled Zack Mills the entire 2nd half, thought he was a real Tiger I guess.
