Baseball ....

at the collegiate level especially has become a game relying on dominant pitching. I have seen few teams this year who consistently hit the ball well. I hope that our coaches are reloading with some quality pitchers.
The 'experts' on t.v. say that the new bats are the reason. I suspect that there is some truth to that.Our 'friends' in capital city have several quality players who pitch well at the college level and they are currently on a roll (again). I certainly am not a fan of the chickens but I admire see players who play the game correctly and have a strong desire to win. With that, I will say "GO HOGS"!

i agree with you..Go Hogs..however I am very much inclined to believe that the coots are the strongest team left and unfortunately will probably win a 3rd championship and we will never hear the end of it....those mouths will be running and the flags will be flying over baseball again....Again I say when you win a NC or even your conference championship, then come and talk to me...College baseball will never be as big as college football.....enjoy it coots...November is coming in Death Valley....

Honestly Arizona has looked the best out of the 3 remaining. They seem to have a lot of quality starters that can come in at any time throughout a game. They don't score many runs, I think they are averaging 4 per game until yesterday, but neither does SCar.

Don't ever let your life revolve around the success (or lack thereof) of the gamecocks or any other team for that matter. Sports are great and we love them but take it from someone who has been there .... life is great and in no way is fulfilled by a baseball game played in Nebraska by a team from columbia. Be a TIGER fan and let the chips fall where they may. You can do something about the successes at Clemson and probably not do anything about our 'enemies'! When the gamecocks become your prime concern, then you have major problems. GO ORANGE.
