Pitcher Sam Keating who is a Clemson signee went two picks later to the Padres as well.

Congratulations Charlie Barnes! A class act from the minute he stepped on campus.

As for folks saying he should have stayed, I wish he would as well. However, one more year won't help his draft stock. After three years, players lose their leverage to sign a decent contract.

And don't think MLB doesn't take advantage of that fact.

Go get 'em Charlie!!

that bunch from LSU came back and played this year ??? ( cause'they were all wanting a CWS title **)

Being selfish,I too wish Barnes would come back for another year,but wish him well in his decision !!!
