...a shot if he picks us tonight. The hurt is real for these guys:

"Seeing Woods pick Clemson would certainly sting for Alabama. That being said, Friday’s commitment might not end up being the final chapter in his recruitment. Unfortunately, every team has a chance for any committed recruit of any team until the LOI is signed and the player arrives on campus. That's the reality of NIL. Once a recruit commits to a team, he has established a presence and in effect has announced he is open for bids.

There is no way to stop that sort of meddling, unless recruits are allowed/required to sign a LOI upon commitment.
