Bama will force DW to throw first.

I gotta think the pachyderms will key on the OU film (and the ever-emerging pattern of Elliot's offense) and tailor their D to stop Watson's prolific draw yards (spy LB w DBs in zone maybe)?
I think they'll have no choice but to play to their "strengths" with lock-down run D from the out and take a gamble that Watson won't be settled enough to establish a rhythmic passing attack early. They know his accuracy isn't as good early on.
My hope/plea/prayer is that Streeter gets DW settled and ready to sling on a rope from the very first series. The productivity of the early passing attack (only made possible by the OUTSTANDING O-line play we saw last night) will set the Tigers up to score at will later in the game like they did on OU.
I'm absolutely delighted we get to watch a tiger maul an elephant in the desert next Monday. Go Tigers.

Bama plays press man and won't change that to zone no matter who they're playing

As long as we stay close in the first half and in the second half Clemson is going to run there defense to death. Bama will be so tired their defense will be crawling off the field come the end of the 4th quarter.

So how exactly do you think they'll go about doing that?

It's easier said than done. Stack the box against Watson and he will absolutely carve up that defense. There really is no defense for a true run/pass threat like Watson.

This time we will put a gameplan together with players who will actually be on the field. We didn't need Cain against the Sooners, but I have total faith in our coaches and players to be ready for the national championship game. We haven't come this far to fall flat on our faces.

We are just not the team you make "one dimensional".

If you sell-out on one component of our offense, we will execute on the other side. There's no single component of our offense that we need in order to win. And this "You shut down Watson, you shut down Clemson" stuff is nonsense. #1) It's not true...we have a great running back. A GREAT Running back. #2) Shut down Watson's what? Passing? Running? He has the talent to do it all.
I'm not saying that we're "unstoppable", but I don't think you stop Clemson unless you execute in all facets of defense. We'll see if Bama can do it.
On the other hand, generally speaking I like our chances if we can limit Bama's rushing (easier said than done!).

He was spyed the whole game and they knew he was running. Their weak butts just couldn't stop him or catch him.

*capability, but Alabama is perhaps the most capable at containing his feet. That's why it'll be crucial for him to gain confidence and dial in accuracy quickly through the air. If he gets passing rhythm early, DW will absolutely embarrass their D by the end of the game.

Bama will not control this game.

Nobody has to force DW to do anything. He's like water, he takes the path of least resistance. Putting a spy on DW won't work. It just takes up another defender's mind and keeps him from being involved in the real action.
DW was nervous during the start of the game. For all purposes it was his first post season NCAA game. I fully expect him to come out blazing (not like Deon and JJ) next Monday.

Our former backup QB, who is not as good as Deshaun

and who has less of a supporting cast than Deshaun, scored 40+ on Alabama. I'm not worried about us against their defense.
Plus, our defense is light years better than Ole Miss's.
