I know it's just a typo, but I had to laugh picturing how far outside a WIDER receiver lined up. I agree, with the number of receivers, plus some QBs, this would be a great time to look.

There are two 4* WRs in the portal from Auburn. Jeff Scott offered both while he was here.
Clemson should bring in both of these guys from Auburn and Bama and give them an opportunity. Maybe skip 1 season where we hand out scholarships to the walk-ons and bring in some potential difference makers for the offense and our next QB.

All of this will be a good test to see if Dabo really believes what he said in terms of going to the portal if we really have needs. We certainly have needs and the portal is filling up with talent. If we don't begin to act on it then we know he wasn't really serious about it.

He blames the receivers for everything so if he’s honest that will be where he will focus on in the portal.. especially since there are so many this year.. need at least two.. and be nice to get a oline and dline player as well maybe a couple dbs also.. need some fillers while our recruits get up to speed

Why would a top receiver even want to come to Clemson? Have you not seen DJ the past 2 yrs? If changes were made w/qb or Offensive Coordinator maybe?

If we get portal WR’s hey need to be proven producers and good wr’s and people.
If they didn’t do well at Alabama, they won’t do well at Clemson either. We need a couple great WR’s coming into the portal because their team changed coaches or the team is really bad.
Dabo won’t be for recruiting others players while they are still on another team.
