Bama attitude

Dec 9, 2021, 5:59 PM

Bama fans are all business. I have enjoyed being around them at the playoff games. They expect to win. Clemson fans need to develop their attitude. Losing an assistant coach should not freak us out. Saban loses coordinators every season. We need to trust our head coach and not sweat the small stuff. I loved CBV as our defensive coordinator but, he is not Clemson football. Dabo has this. Enjoy the holidays and get ready for Orlando. Go Tigers!

Saban also hires the best Assistant coaches. He would never give a guy like Brandon Streeter the OC position.

Well that’s easy change teams if you don’t like Dabo and the way he runs his ship change

That was a pretty dumb statement, look at his DC for the last 2 seasons. The guy can't coach.

Saban is a coaching coach

Dec 9, 2021, 6:04 PM

Swinney is not.
Sabans D will always be good bc of him.
Our D will take a huge hit with the BV loss.

I'm not too worried about the O tho.

How much do you want to bet that our defense will be better

you dont even know who the DC is yet and you are saying that?

BV is the best DC in the country. Thats like trying to replace Saban when he leaves

Personnel. Remember, our defense cost us the last 2 natties

Dec 9, 2021, 6:31 PM

when our offense was pretty #### good. Our lack of defensive linemen meant we could not control the opponent's running game and get pressure on the passer with our front four and we couldn't stop people. A number of defensive linemen were injured over the course of the season. They'll be back in August.

We'll be better defensively because of personnel.

Exactly. Saban is a former NFL DC. He can just take over when needed and probably do better than whoever he hired. Dabos strength is hiring and recruiting. He knows how to evaluate coaches and get the next big thing. We will be fine.

To be fair

Dec 9, 2021, 6:39 PM

Saban recruits a higher number of high schoolers (class numbers) he also attacks the transfer portals and he goes out and gets former head coaches that have a lot of experience rather than promotes from within. Saban has proved to change with the game. Look how well he has adapted! Changing whole philosophies on offense and bringing in different personnel.

I’m not saying one way is right or wrong. Both Coach’s have had success but to say we shouldn’t sweat what’s going on now is wrong. This is a huge turning point for our program. We have to get it right! Alabama fans don’t have to sweat it because they’re coach is more proven.

It was Dabo's team kicking Saban's ### when he had the "best

defense in the history of college football" that caused St. Nick to change his philosophy.

Saban hires coaches who are looking to move on after a couple of years. Dabo prefers more continuity.

There's more than one way to skin a cat, but I like Dabo's positive charisma and the way he runs his program.

he doesn't lose recruits after turnovers either***
