Self professed baseball dork here...I know we're an Easton & Nike school, maybe Wilson as well. Michigan is a Dimarini & Nike school. Does Bakich have the green light to switch or is CU locked into contracts with suppliers? If Bakich wants to take it back to what it was bring back the Mizuno cleats LOL!

When Monte first got here they switched to Demarini bats I believe. Then they switched to Easton right? I may have that wrong, they may have used Nike between. However it seems like the coach has freedom to pick and they aren’t as contractually tied down as the football and basketball teams.

If memory serves...we were Easton (bats, gloves, catchers equipment, etc). I believe we switched to Wilson when coach Lee arrived. A couple of years ago we switched back to Easton bats..not sure on the other equipment. I'd be surprised if we have the option to switch uni brands though.

I’m a lot more concerned with the guys holding the bats than I am the manufacturer! But, that’s just me.

LOL, that seems like it should be the top concern. But I think that we're going to see different style of baseball played next season. I also read that the guy he is bringing with him, that he is a good recruiter, and good recruiting is how good teams are made!!!

brand one of the first moves Monte Lee made when he got here? Or, maybe he tried and because of contracts was unable to?
