Despite the terrible call on the last shot, to even let them have the ball the entire final min was bad enough and then to not even use your last foul to give in the final few secs before the shot is even worse. Coaching or the players just seem to never understand situational basketball....which is as easy as having common sense. I just don't get it, it never should've got to this point anyway after having an 18 pt lead, but blowing leads is what this team does best. They screw up the simplest of things to allow these things to happen. Skara couldn't grab a rebound with 38 secs left, a ridiculous dumb foul by Thomas to foul out......its eye-gouging watching this team try to close out a game.

Would have been better off just playing normal defense and getting a stop and forcing them to foul you? I just can't get over the foul usage and giving them the entire final min of the game.

Everything you said is true. Brownell was screaming for them to foul. Unfortunately they waited until it was a shooting foul.

If anyone watched this game and thought our coach lost the game, they weren't paying attention.
