what are the realistic expectations for Clemson next football season?
I see 4 Legit, tough games on our schedule.
@Auburn - this game could be interesting because it's the first game of the season(inexperience in key spots), @auburn, and they are definitely a very talented team. They've underachieved under gus, so we'll see what happens.
@GT - it's in ATL, and they're almost always a tough out regardless of how good we are. They underachieved last year and I expect PJ to have them ready to go this year.
Louisville - I expect them to be a very good team this year. Plain and simple.
FSU - Same boat as Louisville, they'll be a very good team again this year and they're always a tough out.
With that said I would highly doubt that we lose more than 1 of those games.

And I do think GT will be improved, but this will be the year we break the drought in Atlanta. Would have won last time if DW didn't go out. That was their best year in a long time.

will be a real challenge. The nice thing, and I may be wrong, but if we drop one game, but drop it early (like at Auburn), the placement of the FSU game on our schedule still allows us to make a run. People might say that 1 loss eliminates an ACC team but I disagree. Especially after Clemson proved we belong this year.

I agree, so the thing to do is whip everybody's butts and be done with it. That is what will show pundits we really are worthy, and I do believe we are, even though the schedule is tough. In our conference, we need to have some games that are perceived as tough. Just win, and the rest takes care of itself.

Their issue will be defense. They have the talent there, but they have Steele. This will be their 2nd DC in as many years, it'll be tough for those kids to adjust.

It'll be even tougher to get Steele to remain of sound mind during their games. I like our offense against their defense with Steele running their D.
