when giving them a tour of campus?
Example: -Michelin Career Center (#1 center in the nation) -Botanical Gardens -Scroll of Honor Memorial Park -Death Valley for a game
What would be on your list too help recruit a kid to come to Clemson?

No 16-17 year old guy cares anything about the Michelin Career Center, Botanical Gardens, or Scroll of Honor (no matter how important that might be). Clemson's competing against Texas dropping a million to entertain them and teams in LA. You have to lean into Clemson's strengths and what sets it apart from other top programs.
Since it's typically a weekend, I'd do:
Friday: Saskatoon Steakhouse followed by a concert at Bon Secours (show them that it's not a boring agricultural area which coaches use in pitches - I'd lease a suite there).
Saturday: A real Southern breakfast, followed by a tour of the athletic facilities, a game at Death Valley, with a BBQ buffet before or after from The Smokin' Pig. End the day with a bonfire, smores, stuff like that on the lake.
Sunday: Chick Fil-a Biscuit buffet (Texas leaned into the lobster and expensive stuff, but don't forget how crazy our guys went for fast food at the White House); Whitewater rafting on the Nantahala or Sliding Rock.

Hartwell and the Y-Beach. (As the Louisville fans said, "They even have their own beach!"
Third: If this year: back to the Valley the last of November to watch over 80,000 orange-clad, screaming, yelling, clapping, rabid Tiger fans cheer our men to tack Number 8-in-a-row up on that Godzillaroneous scoreboard against those arch-rival Chickens from Columbia!

at least to me, that current students have no idea what the loggia is. When my wife and I use that term, our girls (Class of 2016 and 2019), always respond by saying, "The what? Where is that?"

I am sure most football recruits would just have the time of their life in the botanical gardens.
