Who is coming into our Country
What is their intent
Are the carrying any harmful diseases
Do they have a support system to house them
What is their intention after entering the county
We are allowing thousands upon thousands to cross without these basic and fundamental questions being answered.

We just lost an employee in our South America office, he left for New York, to work illegally, and overstay his visa. being that he has an architecture degree and is an extremely talented artist, you would think he would get bumped to the front of the line and not have to work here illegally, but that is the case. And of course, if people would not Hire illegal labor, they would not overstay their Visas.
But then again I think you are more concerned with the handful of immigrants that walk over several hundred miles of desert, scale a fence, and come to pick fruit, you know, the ones that are "after our jobs."

As long as there is one willing and able American standing in the unemployment line, there should never be an illegal immigrant move ahead in the U.S. I don’t know how to make that clearer!

I just find irony in people freaking out over the people crossing at the border, you know, to steal our jobs, compared to the people that come from China and Europe, south America, ec.. and take white-collar jobs illegally. I mean I just provided an example of this, yet we get stuck on the Border wall nonsense every time immigration is brought up. And of course, to get a visa, you have to answer all of Manac's dumb questions, which in itself makes this entire thread...well, kind of dumb.
it would be like saying, Man, I wish there was some sticky thing I have to lick so I could get an envelope mailed, we need something like this.

Maybe people view it differently because your educated, talented artist co-worker example is not going to enter the country and immediately start collecting on social services.

that is kind of my point. And it is not just illegal immigrants taking white collar jobs, our major corporations either outsource them, or insource, pay these people crap cause they hold their visa, and drive down labor costs.
But continue with the wall and defunding higher education being the solution.

But this isn't a free country, and unfortunately you and I are going to have to shell out cash for each one of these folks flooding into our system.
(In a free country, you should just be concerned about who you choose to interact with, and that's it. Immigration is a concept that is foreign to freedom entirely.)
