all doubt that I am an idiot, I need help with what should be a simple thing.

I use POP email from bellsouth and cannot just simply leave the messages on the server. In all previous versions of Outlook I had no trouble finding the "delete messages from server after downloading" button but with this latest version, I cannot find the FREAKIN THING! It's killing me. If I leave them there, it actually gets, yep, full. When that happens, I just don't get the emails.

Help a guy out, please....

Go to FILE --> Account Settings --> Select Account

Should be under more settings --> advanced somewhere.

Don't have a POP3 account in my Outlook so I can't verify.

thanks krzy. I was thrown by the "Delivery Options" header over the selection. There I go thinking too much and assuming the STUFF UNDER THAT HEADER RELATED TO OUTGOING MESSAGES. I'm ok now.
