I got the shot. I am not anti-vax I just think people who are healthy and young don’t need to deal with the side effects and still have to distance and mask up.

Technically, the mRNA vaccines are on paper anyway, "safer" than the J&J/Astra Zeneca and others. Some vaccines use genes from other viruses to produce the covid spike proteins (adenovirus for J&J I think). Others use surrogate animals, like moths for example with Novax.
mRNA vaccines use YOU to make the covid spike proteins and skips that step of using a host animal or virus to make the spike protein. So you get a true 100% human response to the spike protein as if the virus was reproducing in you naturally, not one altered by the host animal or virus used to create it. YOU create it. It's fascinating stuff.
On paper anyway, it's probably the most "natural" vaccine aside from getting the crud naturally. And it's better because you get a massive viral dose, where your original infection may have been a small exposure and illness. Unless you spent a week in ICU, your body will probably remember the vaccine better than your covid illness.
