If they beat us, it is in their best interests to lose to UNC. I always expect ND to only do what is in their best interest.

We won't lose to ND!
DJU will get a full week of prep with the starters; not just Thursday then a walk through Friday. 7 games in and it is evident the OL could be doing a better job run blocking! ND defends the run well anyway. They will get challenged this week to dig deep. Oddly enough - may be a good thing this game is away from DV. Sometimes the "us against the world" causes more focus to happen. It causes that flight or fight response to kick in and our guys could make a huge statement as a unit with a strong performance against ND. I think they will or expect to see some shake up in the OL. Bama's defense isn't what it use to be; but we would still need to be able to control the line of scrimmage. Same with OSU.
I could be wrong(if so tell me) but I don't think it's a one sided affair as far as star rating for ND vs our OL. I think it's about a wash across the board. Run blocking is more about attitude - our guys need to get a bit more nasty! I think they will this week because of the opponent and the fact they will get challenged to do so this week.

I think you missed the report that said TL and DJU had been splitting reps. This was being done to prepare for exactly what happened. I would guess this is being done at every position.
Why pound our heads against a good DL? We did that most of the first half against BC. We can establish the pass to set up the run instead of the other way around. F take what they give us.

If Clemson, ND, and UNC all have 1-loss, Clemson goes to the playoff regardless of if they play in the acccg. Or, Clemson and ND could both go to the CFP if ND beats UNC in the acccg and Clemson is 10-1 with a no-TL16 loss at #4
