Yeah that was a big strikeout against Gold. He’s battling out there.

The awesome thing is that through 11 innings pitched this year, he only had one walk. Control has always been his issue, definitely not stuff. If he continues locating his pitches, he could be really really good as a weekend starter.

BC was clearly chirping at him in the dugout and he chirped right back AFTER the big K, not before. and after that last nasty curve that made cunningham look foolish he just laughed. you cant be uptight and pitch. gotta be loose.

I bet the BC pitcher wishes he had thrown Kier another breaking ball instead of trying to sneak an 0-2 fastball past him . . . Easiest triple I’ve ever witnessed!!!
