DJ had played in 2021 like he did so well in 2020.

Bet it surprised him as much as it did our Team, D, Coaches, Us & Big Dave.

Next year.

Unfortunately, QB’s generally don’t go from being ranked in the bottom 10%. of Qb’s in the nation to the upper echelon. He’s the most awkward functioning Qb in the ACC. Sometimes guys just aren’t evaluated correctly. I’m sure every other team in the nation would have signed him also

Huh? When was he ranked Top 10? Did he play enough snaps to have any type of rankings? Something tells me you making stuff up

DJ was widely cited as a Heisman candidate coming into this

season... based on his play last year.

He set records in Death Valley and in South Bend. In two games and mop up duty, he was all that was expected coming into Clemson as the premier QB in the country. He completed 67% of his passes for nearly 1,000 yards, 3 TDs and zero INTs. He had a high completion %, he was mobile and moved in the pocket, and made good decisions.

That's what everyone anticipated coming into this year.
