As someone who sat through “The Lost Years” of Clemson football

Sep 24, 2021, 1:01 PM

from 1993-2001, it’ll take more than a 10-3 loss to Top 5 UGA and an ugly win to Georgia Tech to move me. Go Tigers!

I would disagree “The Lost Years” of Clemson football were ‘92-‘07***

A lot of us did. A lot of us don't want to go back to that.

As long as we care we're going to get upset. Nobody is jumping ship. Go Tigers!

If that is your bad time you are lucky. I went to every home game in the late 60's and 70's until Coach Pell came in and had a young coach named Danny Ford on his staff. We were in Jacksonville for the Gator Bowl game against Pitt and the stadium was solid orange and we just knew things had changed for the better.

Nope. “The Lost Years” of Clemson football

The lost years were 1973-1976

1970 to 1973. Then 1975 and 1976. 1977 and 1978 were real good. 1979 was OK. 1980 was rough, 1981-1983 - two losses and two ties. real good..1984 cut in number of scholarships caught up with us. 1986-1989 were pretty good years. Then the Hatfield years, where he lived off what Ford had left him. The AD was useless. West years were a struggle but ended correctly. Bowen years were better but they could not get over the hump. Since the Middle of 2008, we have kept improving. Can we get better- YES!!!
