As pumped as the crowd was, and the momentum we took

Oct 2, 2016, 9:52 PM

To the locker room at the half...I thought our boys were a little too chipper heading in with a half left to play...coach says nothing is less important than the score at halftime. Our boys looked a little too eager to get the party started. I know dabo will address that to this young team

that was not the problem. Look at the difference

In the offensive play calls from the 2nd to 3rd quarter.

Think we would have taken control of the game had the ball not bounced off of Ray Ray right to the defender. That would have been a first down and we would have been right back in business with a chance to put the game away

yeah, I really believe if the ball didn't pop

outta ray ray's hands there, the Tigers would've maintained the momentum & could've totally put them away.
probably.

I know Elliott shouldn't have called for a drop pass that leads to an interception and a fumble after getting into the 5.

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

i didn't think play calling was a problem in 3q

The drive that ended in Leggett's fumble was one of our best of the game. We were gashing Louisville with a terrific run / pass mixture. The biggest problem was of course turnovers, but also a really good jacked-up Cardinal D!

Turnovers, enough said.***

We ended the half with a TD and a sack, 28-10.

They should have been pumped. It doesn't mean they weren't focused. Somwtimes you tip your cap.. Lville made TOs happen and scored off of them. Their D got stops, their O was rolling.
Fortunately, we had enough in the tank to pull out the win.
