So I ordered some new glasses. USPS with the delivery. Glasses leave Columbus Ohio last week. Estimated delivery to Cartersville Ga set for April 11th. Nice.
Yesterday I checked the tracking number still says delivery expected yesterday but the last thing listed was arrived and left Atlanta distribution site. Cool. Mail comes, no glasses. Checked tracking number and it says it is in Columbus Ohio awaiting package acceptance with a new expected delivery date of today.

Was UPS, and Amazon. Package was lost and Amazon refunded me.

no matter the service (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc).
I've seen my packages randomly wander all over the country. I've seen them stop still for 5 days in one spot. I've seen package listed as being in Dallas at noon, but it's on my front porch when I get home.
Pinpoint accuracy is not a skill with these folks.

Columbus Ohio post office rejected the package yesterday. It is now out for delivery in Cartersville Ga now.

Anything that goes thru there takes at least an extra 3 weeks. Last package that got stalled there I called ... and I called ... and I called.
"I'm sorry, sir, its in the warehouse being routed, I won't be able to find exactly where it is."
The Atlanta distribution centers for USPS and FedEx are the worst. And for FedEx, it's a minor miracle if you can actually talk to a person, not just the computer prompts.

whatever USPS tells you, add 3 days
they are still lots cheaper than UPS

South Korea on the 11th, Alaska on the 12th. It went to Louisville yesterday and was sent out from there a couple of hours ago. Expected delivery by 7pm tomorrow. UPS rules!
