I believe there was just too much of a logjam at WRU and the fact that he prob couldn’t wear his high school number (#4) at Clemson since it’s retired.

So, this is what he said about committing...
"Just the at home feelings really and the bond between the players was one of a kind," Fleming told 247Sports shortly after announcing."
Did he even visit Clemson? Ok, I get he may feel more at home because he's from the PA/OH area, but the bond between the players is one of a kind? I'd really love to see that bond and define it for myself because we've had about 500 other players say the same thing about Clemson.
If OH St really had that kind of chemistry they wouldn't be the massive underachievers they are. Oh, well...we aren't going to land them all, but please don't try to make it sound like there's a better player atmosphere than Clemson's. Just admit that you didn't like the depth chart and move on.

'is like no other'. It's comical actually, especially when we know the culture at Clemson (or at least I do because I've been around it). But, 'bond' is relative to your standards, too, so I get that. He also said it felt like home, which I readily acknowledged and understood. Guess you missed that part.
He can say whatever he likes but if it sounds ridiculous, I'm apt to comment on it, just like countless other individuals on the board, including you.

Do you hear yourself?!? It’s the opinion of a rising senior in HIGH SCHOOL. If he felt more at home with Ohio St or that the bond was one of kind TO HIM then that’s how he felt. Not every recruit is going to feel that clemson is The best school for them. I got one for you tho say the kid did what you wanted and stated in his commitment ceromony, that he chose Ohio St because they had less talent at WR then clemson and has a better shot at playing earlier at Oh st. How do you think that would be taken? Go Tigers!!

Fleming is a really good WR and He def would have played here at clemson. He wouldn’t have started as a freshman or anything but let’s not act like he would never see the field for clemson. Def less talent on their wr roster then clemson so he will see the field earlier for Ohio st. Also I find is so funny that ppl get so upset at these kids for sayin the bond between player and coach is one of a kind and it’s such a home atmosphere. Not every person is going to have the same feel for clemson as most ppl do. These are a opinion of a 18 year old kid not a factual statement so just take a chill pill and relax. Go Tigers!!!
