The rain shut me down all week.

I had the 2K primer on the bare metal I'd used to replace a few bits of rust and though I could swipe on some 3m seam sealer after waiting an hour for the primer to set. It made a mess with the sealer rolling the primer up and mixing it all together.

I didn't go far until I realized 24 hours is going to be the least waiting time for that primer to harden enough to work on top of it.

So in the morning, Lord willing, I'm going to sand the slop I left last week and shoot some more primer on that section. Sun afternoon I'll sand it to create a surface for a mechanical bond for the seam sealer then shoot some single stage (original) paint on it. Early Monday I'll overcoat the outside of all that metal with a good quality product then the real fun starts.

I get to start sanding the body in preparation for a couple coats of 2K highbuild primer. I still have the aluminum around the door glass to remove and the rear windshield. It's time for the shop.
