Opinion on Dwight Howard...

Is it just me or is Dwight Howard easy to dislike. He strikes me as a big baby. I don't follow the NBA very much but I just read an article that said he is opting out of a $23 million dollar contract. The same article went on to say that he averaged less than 12 points a game. Howard is a big guy. Often the biggest and strongest on the court. Yet he rarely dominates the offensive paint anymore. It seems like he is sinking fast and blames his lack of success on everyone else around him. I thought he came off looking bad in the press conference incident with Stan Van Gundy, he came off looking bad in his time with the Lakers, and now (amidst rumors he wasn't happy there) he is probably cutting ties with the Houston Rockets. Maybe I'm wrong but Howard seems like a cancer to whichever team may pick him up.

I'll be honest. No one likes Dwight Howard. Even his dad, Ron Howard doesn't talk to him much, and Juwan Howard gets embarrassed when people mix them up.

It seems like he was in his element and prime with the Magic. Will he get back there? Some say he can, while others say he can't. We will have to see.
