As a career/retired military member, I actually liked aTm

and the many military members I served with who were alumni. Now, however, seeing that the Aggies lost to Oklahoma in the CWS brings a smile to my face.

What a difference an a-hole for a football coach makes wrt my opinion of the entire institution.

I guess it’s actually more of a negative reflection on me, not aTm.

Oh well…. DAMBIT! There’s some more kids on my grass again!

From another career military/retired, I agree completely on all counts. Many Aggie friends, but no longer a fan.

I disliked Fisher when he was at FSU. I’d hear him talking on TV and think to myself if my son was a recruit I wouldn’t consider visiting the school he’s coaching at.

Clemson doesn't care about basketball....as evidenced by Brown-L getting 14 years.

I try to be diplomatic about TAMU, as some of my

closest Texan kin are alumni or big fans, all of whom were highly supportive of Clemson in our playoff appearances.

Same thing for the rest of those kin, who are Longhorns.

Surprisingly, all of them have been huge Dabo fans, so I also have to temper my comments about Jimbo Fisher...at least around them. lol

Same here--it's difficult not to say what is on my mind regarding Jimbo.

I was career military also and stuck to Citadel grads when I wanted to be friends with military academy folks.
