Couple of guys in the report thinks they will still get hit hard but the one guy thinks they are in good shape. I hope the guy from Oklahoma is correct and they get hammered.

When I recall what our Tigers went through 30 plus years ago for much,much less wrong doings I get sick! UNC will walk away from this and if the powers that be at the other schools allow that to happen I will lose all respect for them. Someone must call the hand of the NCAA on this !

know i'm a broken record,but the ncaa itself should be investigated.where is the oversight for them?too many sacred cows of college sports get away with scandals.all about the money.very sad.

the NCAA doesn't know how to thread the needle on this one, the needle being the need to sanction UNC but the desire to impose sanctions short of shuttering the entire athletic program?
Probably not, because the NCAA is a giant balloon of hypocrisy and fossil-like slow.
But I bet it's a tough nut for them to figure out how to save the program and their faces at the same time.
I'm reminded of the old axiom on Wall Street regarding a destructive impulse to invest too soon - Don't just do something. Sit there!
I wonder if (I bet) they are waiting with the hope that most people will stop caring so they won't have to do their jobs.
This is unprecedented territory, but their actions so far are on the well-trodden grounds of cronyism.
