We were telling jokes and this coot intern said something about Dabo leaving after they beat us for the 5th time in a row. Leave to a coot to talk smack in the office. I turned and pointed to my Clemson degree on the wall and said look boy, you have as much chance to have one of those in your lifetime as my grand kids do of ever seeing this game ever turn into a rivalry, Dabo ain't goin nowhere until Bama comes callin and even then that's a lateral movement at best. I would take coaching at Clemson over every wasteland dummy hole that is the SEC. He then said well we got Clowney and Lattimore. We all know Clowneys a coot because Dabo told him he'd have to go to juco and Saban said thanks but no thanks. Coots probably promised Lattimore a free room at the Whitney. Clemson wasnt going to compete with Mangus because Dabos crew can't compete with Mangus and his dirty tactics. Tweet that coot. He walked back to his cube with his tail between his legs.

This guy gives every Clemson fan a bad name. Clowney was all USC, Clemson didn't "turn him down" and Nick Saban never said "no thanks." Also, Clemson to Alabama is not a lateral move, they've won like 13 or 14 National Titles now and like 3 in the last 10 years alone. That's a step up, I'm sorry.

You're really struggling with this whole Clowney thing aren't you? I don't care if that boy had Downs Syndrome, his high school highlights and measurables were INSANE. I bet 90% of college coaches would give their left arm to have Clowney on their team and would have given up anything to get him into school if he didn't qualify. Dude is 6'6" 260-270 lbs and runs a legit 4.5 40 time and he's probably like 5% body fat. I mean he isn't going to be a Rhodes Scholar but then again about 75% of college athletes (except the ones at Stanford) are just average students at best.
I bleed orange and purple but I don't think Clowney ever really considered us, and if he did it's because we're the other in-state school and we're close to home just like USuC is.
