Are we the standard now?

I had to drive a lot today and spent all day listening to XM sports shows. Everybody is in love with Louisville because they played a good game against us. It reminds me how everyone loved Clemson when we played a good game against Alabama.

So I figure it's a compliment to Clemson that people love Louisville now. Everybody loves a loser who tries hard and doesn't quit against an established national power.

Don't know if we are the standard but now we are no longer considered an upstart. The way folks are talking about Louisville is how they spoke of Clemson - we were the upstart and people weren't sure yet if we belonged.

I am with you. I think that by the fact they arent gushing over our victory shows we have arrived.

This is going to take fan adjustment time. We still see ourselves as underdogs, the team thrives on it, it's a transition to be elite.
