I'm confused. You don't give Clemson a realistic shot to win the ACC? I understand most people are picking FSU to win (I still have them in the playoff mind you) it, I just think they have too many changes on their offense. No disrespect to DJU but he is not as good as Jordan Travis and they don't have the same weapons.
Miami has talent, I think they will just continue to get in their own way.
Louisville will be interesting if their QB can stay healthy (he has not proven to be able to do so)
NC State now has Coastal's Grayson McCall under center. Will he be able to perform consistently on the next level? Also their defense took a massive hit this season. They will have to score ALOT of points.
Virginia Tech is up and coming. Their schedule helps them out tremendously, I just dont think they are one of the top teams yet.
Me ranking Clemson third does not mean I think they are the third best team in the country, I just believe they can and will win the ACC Championship, be ranked higher than the Big 12 champ... and if that happens they automatically get the third spot.

I think they'll be better than FSU. Louisville is setting up to be good as well. NC State is going to be hard to beat with Grayson McCall. No I'm not giving us "no shot" but this attitude like it's given that we will get a first round bye is just wishful thinking. Sure I hope we do but I just don't see this offense taking the leap that it needs to take unless Wesco or Moore do their best Sammy Watkins impersonation, the Oline does a complete 180 and Cade finds his inner Bo Nix.

Yup. And if they can put it all together, they can absolutely win the ACC. I guess with Miami I am just more on the wait to see it before I believe it side of things. Too many times the expectations have been high for them and they end up laying an egg. But who knows maybe this is their year.

We would have to beat UGA and run rough shod over the ACC to finish 3rd in the rankings and neither of those things are likely to happen.

The UGA game will have nothing to do with the playoff seedings. Top 4 seeds get byes. The only way to get a top four seed it to win the conference. Top 5 conference champs are automatically in (I picked OSU, Bama, Clemson, Utah, and UTSA).
If Clemson wins the ACC championship it needs to be ranked higher than the big 12 champ and group of 12. If that happens, yes they get the third seed. Clemson could lose to UGA by 100 and still end up third

Everyone is getting too caught up on the three seed. I am not saying Clemson is the third best team in the country (losing to Texas in playoff).
I am picking Clemson to win the ACC Championship. I am also picking Utah to win the big 12 and UTSA to win their conference. When it is all said and done I think Clemson will be rank ahead of those two teams and ranked lower than Ohio state + Alabama... in this case Clemson would automatically get the three seed.
