We're still cycling in, but Wes is doing the pedaling now and his short legs are not quite as fast as Venables' were. We're definitely coming though!

IMO Clemson really excelled in the old environment of player loyalty and developmental football. Now with NIL and transfer portal we have definitely lost our edge. It appears Dabo doesn’t want to adapt to this new scene and I can’t say I blame him, the old way seems much more personally rewarding.

Next season will tell. We are at a tipping point. The fan in me says cycling in. The realist in me wonders how we can compete with the NIL deals the richest 10 schools are making.
