Offensively with Nix they are better. With Finley we’re about the same. Struggling QB with a pretty decent run game. Defensively we are head over heels better than them.

Are we? They've had a pretty good D all year. UGA wore them down. It was 6-3 late 4th in atm game and offense gave up a pic 6. But rushing defense, they're in the 30's. You got to consider the competition.

I mean from a statistical standpoint we’ve faced better offensive competition and held them to less points. We’ve played 3 teams ranked in the top 15 in total offense and 4 in the top 25. Auburn has played 1.

Auburn's D-backs couldn't tackle a kitten. The only comparison to Clemson's D-backs was when we played W.Virginia in the bowl after the 2011 season.
Maybe Auburn's D had played better earlier in the year (LSU and aTm come to mind), but their LSU game is, in hindsight, tainted by what was possibly a LSU team in early stages of melt-down.
Auburn's D reminds me of Florida's D ... whatever good attributes were in place during 1st half of the season have disappeared into a miasma of indifference.
The mighty SEC, with not one, not two, but THREE historically fine programs turning to garbage in 2021.

But all practices have looked "great."
Didn't hear a whimper of practice this week, and wer look like an expected Clemson team.
It's still kinda any given Saturday this year outside of top 3 or 4
