247 Crystal Ball question

I notice Sam Pendleton picked up 2 CB's for Notre Dame today, one of them from Steve Wiltfong. I thought Steve CB'ed him to Clemson earlier in the year but it doesn't show he flipped in choice. Does anyone recall whether he changed his CB for this recruit? If so, why doesn't the site show he flipped his decision?

Clemson is targeting three OL currently. Monroe Freeling, Sullivan Absher, and Zachariah Owens. Looks like we are valuing size a lot more with Thomas Austin.

After it was reported that the O310 coaches and sports writers said the Clemson OL looked like stumps in 2020, I think 6' 5" and 300 lbs is a minimum now for OL recruits.

Good! It’s been extremely frustrating seeing guys getting manhandled ever since Trevor’s sophomore year. Get those big hosses and let them eat!!!!

It would make sense to me to still recruit the best players even if they are not our top choice. What if those other two go elsewhere and we are left with no one?

Despite what Kiss Fan infers, I would guess that a lot of our backing off of Pendleton is due to a shift in his interests rather than ours. It would not be the end of the world if our numbers increased on the offensive line. In addition to that, even Dabo said that he would like to pick up an offensive lineman out of the portal. If that person ends up only having 1 year left then it would leave a spot in the 2023 class anyhow. Recruiting always has and always will come with a lot of sour grapes.

A Little of both but more in our end bigger guys that we like more on our board look for the end from Maryland to commit soon and absner soon after
