Balls at all … absolutely ridiculous somebody has to answer that question… like not even giving our wr group a chance to make a play !

Agree on the o lone but there were plenty of times he had time and just dumped it off or freaked out staring at one wr… we need a fresh look on offense there is no denying this offense has gone super stale since Scott left … every play both safeties were inching up like are you serious gt doesn’t even respect us throwing … I just can’t believe he can’t bc of what we saw last year … gotta call a few deeps balls it’s ridiculous

O Line was not that much of a problem today or against SC State. DJ had plenty of time on a lot of plays. It's the QB play and the fact we have no quick twitch speed burners at wide receiver. Mostly just 50/50 jump ball type receivers. Tall and lanky at 6',3" or taller. They can't outrun any corners or safeties. We are sorely missing Renfrow. We also have not replaced Jordan Leggett at Tight End. Until we establish a run game consistently, opposing defenses will continue to do what they have all year and what Ohio State did to us. We rarely get one on one coverage any more downfield to throw the 50/50 ball to. And when we do they are covered like glue because they are not fast. Teams are onto us. This offensive plan is outdated. We need some speed burners at WR.

I don't think DJ can throw a deep ball...

Maybe it's time for TP?

The offense in its original incarnation under Chad wanted to take at least one deep shot every quarter if I remember correctly. We have sure gotten away from that.

Good Lord…were you watching the game at all? GT was playing with 2 and sometimes 3 safeties to prevent us from throwing the deep ball. Some of y’all sound like my wife watching football smh

I was there and pointed many many time two safeties inching up almost every play , what game did you watch … like maybe keep em honest … and if we can’t run the ball on that from if they are then wow

Then there are remedies to that defensive scheme. But you have to have a QB that can recognize these schemes and use to two or three things that are in his arsenal to combat this. But apparently DJ is not what we thought he was. One way to rectify the safeties dropping back into pass coverage is to have a QB who is a running threat. There must be 7-10 designed QB runs in every game plan. Also the QB must tuck and run the ball when the receivers are covered 4 to 5 times a game. Defenses hate that. BUT it takes a QB who can notice and recognize these things and think quick on his feet. DJ has not shown he is an average college QB much less elite. It's hurting us badly.

That had a beast CB 2 hears ago (first year for the current staff). He was all over the place - all they had that year. I could tell they made a good hire. 2nd to UVA, after us, in my book. This is year 3 for them and about time for them to begin to turn the corner. The will give UGA fits soon. I get they are out talented right now but I think they have a better staff than UGA.

I don't think the receivers are any good at getting

With one of the best qbs in the country coming out of high school that year, we are averaging less than 20 points per game. Something is clearly wrong and it ain’t their dbs
